| The
school year is from September to June. Students' names have
to be put on a waiting list. Waiting List starts in January
of the year of admission. Admission to Junior Kindergarten
is done on a "draw" system. From Senior Kindergarten to
Grade 8 admission is granted depending on the number of
places available and the student's number on the list.
A copy
of the student's birth certificate and immunization record
must be submitted for entrance to Junior Kindergarten and
Senior Kindergarten. In addition to these, a copy of the
most recent report card is required for students requesting
admission to Grades 1 - 8. Students requesting admission
to Grades 4 - 8 are required to take a test in English and
Math.
All
students must display a willingness to cooperate with the
spirit and rules of a uniquely Muslim school. Islamic code
of dress and behaviour must be observed throughout the school.
Any practice or attitude which tends to nullify a Muslim
atmosphere or defeat the purpose of the school will not
be permitted.
New
students will be evaluated on behavior and academic performance
during the first term. The school reserves the right to
deny re- admission after evaluation.
