Message
from Principal Osama Ghanim . . .
"Assalamu Alaikum" Peace be upon you.
On
behalf of the ISNA Islamic School Board and the Administration
I extend a warm welcome to the learning community that is
the ISNA Islamic School.
The
mission and vision of the ISNA Elementary School is to help
in the development of morally and academically excellent
children. This is to take place through the development
and implementation of an integrated wholistic curriculum
that is founded on the following Islamic and universal values:
belief in the Oneness of God; Guidance - The Message that
is The Quran and The Example that is the Messenger of Allah,
Muhammad; Truth, Knowledge, Wisdom, Justice, Tolerance,
Perseverance, Peace, Charity, Compassion, Family, Community,
Citizenship and that Humanity is a relationship between
Brothers and Sisters.
As part of our quest for excellence, we
believe:
-
A highly qualified and dedicated professional and support
staff is a vital factor in the educational process.
-
The home shares a significant responsibility for the
education of each student. The family is to be considered
as a founding partner in the journey to learn. Family
involvement in the school must be encouraged
-
We must be committed to providing an environment which
encourages the desire for learning, fosters creativity,
promotes respect for self and others, and demonstrates
a spirit of cooperation and a concern for safety and
security.
-
All students can learn and succeed.
-
Quality resources and facilities promote the success
of the educational process.
Through the promotion of these beliefs we should be able,
by the will of Allah, to meet the challenging academic and
moral needs of a global society and prepare our students
for the 21st century.
