The Prophet (PBUH) used to appoint Imams and leaders among his companions from those who memorize the Quran best! Prophet (PBUH) also said:
“The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it (to others).”
Memorizing and reading the Quran is an important virtue for the individual and of great benefit for the community. What better way to connect with Allah than through His book?
ISNA is providing tajweed/reading and memorization classes. For each student, the Quran teacher completes student assessments (diagnostics) to set-up individual goals and plans for learning. Students (and their parents!) remain motivated and the teachers give consistent feedback on learning expectations and progress.
Classes are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Classes are broken into 4-month semesters, semester one being from September to December, and semester two being from January to April.
A progress report is sent out at the midpoint, and at the end of every semester.
On the last Thursday of every month, there will be a sports day in the gymnasium, or a story night hosted by one of the ISNA Imams.
